THE MESSAGE
Sermons, messages, and reflections from our notes.
Passages and reflections on Colossians 2:6-7, Ephesians 5:20, Psalm 106:1.
What is it?:
1 Thessalonians 5:16, 18. Gratitude refers to the ability to show thanks for the things you have and the things you're grateful for. It helps you get closer to God by recognizing all the blessings in your life and makes it easier to focus on the positive.
Bible: Colossians 2:6-7; Ephesians 5:20; 1 Chronicles 16:34
Description: God has blessed us with so much, but sometimes, we take that for granted and forget to be thankful. We should take the time to be thankful for all the things in our life, so that we can live our lives in Him, overflowing with thankfulness.
Stories: 1 Samuel chapter 1.
1 Thessalonians 5:18.

When you live life with a negative outlook all the time, it severely hurts your ability to be grateful.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 12:2
gratitude is an attitude that affects all our lives.
Be merciful, kind, humble, patient even if you don’t feel like it and mainly grateful even if you don’t have what you wish to always remember that some people don’t even have a quarter amount of what you have so be grateful for everything that comes your way
Mainly be grateful because you’re healthy alive and still breathing
We can be grateful because:
God will in time reward you with emotions of thankfulness.
