How A Christian lives with others

Christianity does not only end by words and just only spirituality but when one is a true Christian your character is known by others and that’s why in Mathew 5:13 states that: “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

As God isn’t with us physically anymore he gave us a role to be his representation to the world/each other and be his children where others will know him through us which is our responsibility/role as Christians.

Let’s see A Christian in different ways, how’s a Christian at home, in 2kings 2:24 we find an example of a person of God who’s compared to a modern Christian as according to 1Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; “
-1 Peter 2 : 9

Us we are the chosen ones and a nation of God, Priesthood and we are chosen to proclaim the praises of Jesus Chris Whom called us out of the darkness into his light

So this priesthood Jehoiada, the Bible talks about him in the book of 2 Chronicles 24 : 15-16 “ But Jehoiada grew old and was full of days, and he died; he was one hundred and thirty years old when he died.
And they buried him in the City of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God and His house.
-2 Chronicles 24 : 16

He was not a king, back then where within a country a king was very well ranked and respected by all with the authority and the role of leading the citizens of the country by God’s will. There was a cemetery for kings only and the other cemetery for regular people but when Jehoiada passed away they gave him respect and buried him in the cemetery of Kings although he was never one.
So what caused it ?
He did Good to his God, in Israel and his own home

It is not so much the religion of the pulpit as the religion of the family that reveals our real character. The minister's wife, his children, and those who are employed as helpers in his family are best qualified to judge of his piety. A good man will be a blessing to his household. Wife, children, and helpers will all be the better for his religion.
Brethren, carry Christ into the family, carry Him into the pulpit, carry Him with you wherever you go. Then you need not urge upon others the necessity of appreciating the ministry, for you will bear the heavenly credentials which will prove to all that you are servants of Christ. Carry Jesus with you in your hours of solitude. Remember that He was often in prayer, and His life was constantly sustained by fresh inspirations of the Holy Spirit. Let your thoughts, your inner life, be such that you will not be ashamed to meet its record in the day of God.. 5T 161.1-5T 161.2

The people of God will then be plunged into those scenes of affliction and distress described by the prophet as the time of Jacob's trouble. “Thus saith the Lord: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.... All faces are turned into paleness. Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:5-7. . GC 616.1

Jacob's night of anguish, when he wrestled in prayer for deliverance from the hand of Esau (Genesis 32:24-30), represents the experience of God's people in the time of trouble. Because of the deception practiced to secure his father's blessing, intended for Esau, Jacob had fled for his life, alarmed by his brother's deadly threats. After remaining for many years an exile, he had set out, at God's command, to return with his wives and children, his flocks and herds, to his native country. On reaching the borders of the land, he was filled with terror by the tidings of Esau's approach at the head of a band of warriors, doubtless bent upon revenge. Jacob's company, unarmed and defenseless, seemed about to fall helpless victims of violence and slaughter. And to the burden of anxiety and fear was added the crushing weight of self-reproach, for it was his own sin that had brought this danger. His only hope was in the mercy of God; his only defense must be prayer. Yet he leaves nothing undone on his own part to atone for the wrong to his brother and to avert the threatened danger. So should the followers of Christ, as they approach the time of trouble, make every exertion to place themselves in a proper light before the people, to disarm prejudice, and to avert the danger which threatens liberty of conscience. .
