Whats in a name?

• Micah- who’s like God?
• Ameaiah- close to God
• Jireh- the Lord will provide
• Exodus 3:13-15- God’s name “I AM”
• Vs 15 The Lord (YHWH)

The 7 I AMs

• John 6:35 - I AM the bread of life- the manna (what is it?) the daily bread that sustained the Israelites- I too need Him daily for spiritual sustenance
• John 8:12 I AM the light of the world
• John 10:7 & 9 I AM the door of the sheep, psalms 119:19-20
• John 10:14 I AM the good Shepherd, Ezekiel 34:11-15
• John 11:25-26 I AM the resurrection and the life, Isaiah 53:10-11
• John 14:6 I AM the way, and the truth and the life. - He is our gps to heaven and life here on earth, this verse isn’t subjective- there’s no I have my truth and u have yours, this IS the truth. Psalms 77:13
• John 15:1 I AM the true vine - our source of life, we have life as long as we remain connected to Him. Isaiah 5:1
  
  
  I AM- God isn’t and cannot be limited to one thing- heaven & earth aren’t big enough to contain Him- He is what we need- comforter, Healer, Friend, Immanuel etc 😊

Like a blank check- and we fill in the amount of what we need, He is.

SABBATH- His other name right in the command- if we love Him, keep His commandments.
