1 Corinthians Questions & Summary

Summary: Paul sends greetings along with his brethren sosthenes to the believers in Corinth, encouraging and acknowledging their gift. He then brings to their awareness what he had heard, and corrects them telling them there shouldn’t be division in the church, that he didn’t preach in his own power, all he did was by the power of God. How the message of the cross is subjective: those being saved, seeing it as the power of God, and those who are perishing, as foolishness. Then discusses how God uses the low things of the world (wise n poor etc) to humble the proud. Highlights that because man is only able to accomplish the work by the power of God, they should only boast in Christ.
