1 Thessalonians Chapter Notes

Chapter 2 ✅ Verse: “But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.” I Thessalonians 2:4 NKJV Application: - Genuinely working/walking with God brings on persecution - Care and genuineness for people - A faithful messenger speaks what God entrusted them with like a nursing mother, a working servant and a blameless example also as a loving father , spiritual brother and their reward(what brings them joy/satisfaction) is being people being ready for christ because of their labor (words that came in power) - Pleasing God rather than people - Reflecting our message with our lives (living what we preach) - Being careful to not cause anyone to stumble/fall - Making sacrifices for the sake of the people/gospel.
