2 Corinthians Questions, Summary & Application

Summary: 1-2 don’t take God’s grace for granted, don’t delay, NOW is the accepted time, NOW is the day of salvation. When we hear the voice of God the turn to time is act is NOW, not any time later or before. 3, Paul talks about not doing anything that can hinder the gospel. 4 -10 starts off by saying in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: and lists the ways in which, by these you can see they are ministers of God/ambassador- and with us too it should be this way, in all things people should be able to see that we’re His followers. 11-13 Paul teaching to have open hearts and being open to correction. 14-18 don’t be unequally, like don’t yoke yourself with people that are heading different direction from where you’re heading- (can 2 walk together unless they agree, bad company corrupts good habits/character) cz you won’t go anywhere. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness, righteousness has an authority-God, they have a law they live up to, lawlessness does whatever it wants, no authority. So if we’re doing whatever we want, we’re practicing lawlessness- rejecting the authority of God, same as an unbeliever/ or atheist. Same way Jesus and Satan have don’t agree on anything/ or harmonize, so should believers with unbelievers. Us being the temples of God should take heed so we don’t hang around what will desecrate it- cz bad company corrupts good character. And the chapter ends by saying to come out from among em (cz staying wont end well) Babylon is falling- come out- if you stay in Babylon- u perish with it. Come out and join God, be heirs through Christ Jesus 😊
