THE MESSAGE
Sermons, messages, and reflections from our notes.
Read Psalms chapter 129 in the New King James Version, with links to related Bible study notes.
1"Many a time they have afflicted me from my youth," Let Israel now say--
2"Many a time they have afflicted me from my youth; Yet they have not prevailed against me.
3The plowers plowed on my back; They made their furrows long."
4The LORD is righteous; He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked.
5Let all those who hate Zion Be put to shame and turned back.
6Let them be as the grass on the housetops, Which withers before it grows up,
7With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Nor he who binds sheaves, his arms.
8Neither let those who pass by them say, "The blessing of the LORD be upon you; We bless you in the name of the LORD!"
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
PM Bible Notes brings our Bible studies, sermon notes, questions, and lesson drafts together in one place.
This collection grows out of time spent reading Scripture, listening to messages, and studying together. It includes notes in English and Kinyarwanda, alongside passages and references that help us return to the source.
The original notes keep their own voice. They are personal study material, including working thoughts and unfinished drafts.
Read a chapter, revisit a message, or explore the study notes for reflections from the collection. Bookmark readings to return to them on this device.
