2 Corinthians Questions, Summary & Application

Chapter 11 QSA Verse 30? Here Paul says “if I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity” basically - if he has to brag he won’t do it like the false teachers do who boast about their status, power, influence pretty much of self but he will boast of his sufferings, weakness, sacrifices and how much he had endured for christ in which none are for exalting him but christ. Application : This warns first to be careful about lies and tricks that satan uses to confuse us / pull us away from the faith. Applicable that even in today’s time messages that sound good or are popular can mislead us away from the truth (can be satan’s tricks) Also teaches me to not judge people (messengers of God) by their outward appearance because some might look like they have “authority” power from their appearance but really be weak inwardly and some can look unimpressive but understand the truth and care for others (carry God’s power) In my life generally I should then check every message against the word of God not just go by how some convincing speaker is and should also avoid using others for own-benefits but help and protect others even when misunderstood. Mathew 7:15 & Galatians 1:8
