2 Corinthians Questions, Summary & Application
Chapter 13 - 5/5/26
QAS
5 n 6?
He’s advising them to start checking their own state (spiritually) instead of checking him always. That they should be checking their level of faith if they truly have christ in them truly following him, living in them?, repented?, still holding to their sins?. If christ is in them then they are not disqualified but if they claim to be his and refusing to repent then they needa check themselves.
But they should know that he’s not disqualified😂.
The reason he keeps mentioning being “disqualified” when talking about bout improving
Because he care about their spiritual growth
Referencing chapter 9:27 in 1corinth to push them to move past selfish pride and into a life of self-denial and genuine, loving improvement.
Application:
I learn to be honest with myself in Chapter 13. It is simple to criticize others n challenge authorities or point out the errors of others. Bu the chap emphasizes that we must first examine our own hearts.
"Is Christ really being seen in my life?" is a wonderful life question from this chapter. It goes beyond simply asking, "Do I believe in God?" to ask, "Is my faith changing my actions, attitude, words, habits, and relationships?"
teaches that occasional correction is required. Paul was prepared to be strict if sin persisted but he did not want to be cruel. Sin is not disregarded by true love. True love corrects, repairs, and warns.
Lamentations 3:40 & James 1:4
2 Corinthians = we should remain faithful to Christ through weakness, suffering, correction, and misunderstanding, trusting that God’s grace is enough and that His power is revealed through humble, surrendered lives.
The rule is simple enough. Commit to a personal or professional goal for 21 straight days. After three weeks, the pursuit of that goal should have become a habit. Once you've established that habit, you continue to do it for another ninety days
Moving forward, what to improve on:

- Reflection days (what went well, what didn’t,- like letting it out) - sabbaths
Strengths:
- Consistency (only missed 3 days)
- Pushed each other
- There was order in our studies - clear structure
