When we have the Holy Spirit, these things take place- we become selfless- even suffering for the good of others. Under the Holy Spirit’s working, selfishness, self-sufficiency and self esteem will be put away. 5- let your mindset be like Christ’s copy Him, being at such a high status, all He had, made Himself of no reputation- bringing Himself lower than having a title. He put His equality with God aside. He put His status and all glory aside to be the lowliest of the lowest. There was nothing about Him naturally drawing. His character is what drew people. Humbled Himself even to the point of death on the cross (the most humiliating thing ever was having the very people he’s doing it for despise him, spitting on him hitting him but still through all of that he remained humble and full of compassion) and because of that he was exalted highly by God (humility-exaltation) (self-exaltation- put-down). Everyone will acknowledge that He’s lord (some because they love him and others because they can no longer deny the truth. Every tongue will confess that He’s Lord. Not only (performing when being watched , but working out your own salvation with fear and trembling; cz every individual will be judged on their own. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure- God is the one who enables us, to want to and to do His will. (it’s not just you doing- changing yourself alone but God and you’re just cooperating). Do all things (even hard things) without complain- stand out from the world cz they complain. He wants His people to be blameless and harmless shining as light in this cooked generation (not meant to blend in but to stand out).“Our high shines by doing good rather than talking”- you are the light of the world- our good works (not complaining) shine, stand out from the world.
