Philippians Chapter Notes

Chapter 3 Verse: “But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.” Philippians 3:7 NKJV Application: - We want to grow enough to be able to rejoice in the Lord even in the mids of hard times. - Be aware of false teachers - Not complaining in hard situations - Not to our confidence in anything but Christ (background-high status , how religious u appear) - I wanna get to the point where when I look at everything, I thought was gain, I see as loss. - We wanna come to the point where knowing Christ (having a relationship with Him) is the most valuable thing in our lives - Not trusting in our own righteousness but His - We want to be determined, stay looking ahead till we finish the race - Don’t dwell on the things of the past, forget what’s behind and reach forward - Proud to be citizens of heaven and wait eagerly- like an immigrant would be waiting to go overseas
