Ephesians Questions & Summary

Ephesians 5 Application: being a Christian is more than believing in Jesus—it is becoming like Him. Since God has loved and forgiven me, I should love others with the same selfless love, even when it costs me something. Needa put away every sinful habit instead of making excuses for it or allowing others to make me comfortable in my sin. As someone who has been brought from darkness into God’s light should actively seek what pleases Him through His Word and obey it. God calls me to wake up from spiritual laziness, use my time wisely, and allow the Holy Spirit—not the things of this world—to guide my thoughts and actions. In my relationships, especially marriage, I see the beautiful picture of Christ and the church, reminding me that true love is sacrificial, humble, and centred on God. When Christ is at the centre of every relationship, unity, peace, and genuine love naturally follow.
